Exquisite and Modern Stay in Brooklyn

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Positive: Sehr nettes Appartement, modern eingerichtet und sauber. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Gastgeberin gibt gute Tipps für Supermärkte/Restaurants in der Umgebung und ist auch per Mail für kurzfristige Fragen erreichbar (z.B. Gepäckaufbewahrung) Negative: Leider im Appartement insgesamt sehr dunkel, da Ground Floor. Und auch etwas kalt. Zudem super hellhörig und laut. Wenn die Nachbarn oben keine Rücksicht nehmen (wie es bei mir der Fall war) rieselt einem fast der Putz von der Decke. Von der Straße hört man im Schlafzimmer aber tatsächlich nicht so viel.

For those willing to get in touch with the city’s reality Positive: Excellent condition of the apartment, with a microwave, 4 stove electrical kitchen and utensils for 4 people. The self check-in process was quite convenient (never to worry about loosing physical keys!). Our host was very responsive through the messaging system of Booking, always replying fast, clear, kind and helpful. The location is good, a short walk from 2 subway stations and a bus running on the main avenue every 5-7 minutes. It is excellent value for money and an immersive experience in a New York neigbourhood. Negative: The neighbourhood is completely residential and the infrastructure needs some love. We felt that we stood out as tourists, usually stared at on our way to the subway. The menu offer at the closest deli was quite limited, although the service was warm and friendly. The restaurant variety in the surroundings is also narrow (but it will be your ouster if you are into Caribbean food).
